I work at the intersection of law, technology, and society. My research and teaching span intellectual property, competition law, artificial intelligence, data governance, and open science.
I’m particularly interested in exploring how law shapes, and is shaped by, emerging technologies and social changes. Protecting public interest is vital in this dynamic process. By working together, we may be able to make meaningful changes in this regard globally, nationally and locally!
Beyond academia, I have a fondness for friends, books, movies, good food, trekking and travel. The gallery section may offer glimpses from some of these pursuits.
I took the efforts to learn WordPress primarily to create an independent, open platform that provides free and easier access to my publications and teaching resources. Over time, I also hope to develop this into a space for sharing working notes and ideas. At a moment when academic publishing and social networking are increasingly shaped by large technology and publishing corporations, platforms like this may serve as small but meaningful spaces for open, collaborative learning.
